One thing I cant stress enough is to TAKE IT SLOW. It is not a race. Who cares if your friend has a bigger gauge than you, you will get to a bigger size that you want eventually. Its all about your safety when it comes to stretching. You will avoid blowouts and completely ripping your ears if you just take it easy. Its taken me a 2 and a half years to get to 7/16th and all that time was completely worth it because my ears are doing well and they look nice(: I would wait about 4-6 weeks or even 2-3 months after a fresh stretch before you go to the next size up. I said blowout a lot in this video and what it is is just the skin from the inside of your ear is pushed out the back and is mainly caused by tapers. So again PLEASE lube up your gauges and use hot water to soften your ears if you are going to use tapers. IF YOU GET A BLOW OUT rub vitamin e oil or jojoba oil on it everyday for about a week, once or twice a day, and also size down at least 1 or 2 sizes, let it all heal up, and then try again. Everyones body is different so everyone has a different "point of no return" which means that a certain size is the last size your ear will be able to handle if you wished to shrink back down to a normal earring size (16, 18, or 20g). Obviously if your fist or more than one finger can fit through your ear then you will most likely not be able to shrink down fully. For some people their point of no return is a 0 others it’s 7/16s. it all varies. Another thing to go along with …
