tongue piercing pain level
from 1 to 10 whats the pain of getting your belly button pierced?

i just got my tongue pierced yesterday and i was really really surprised at the pain level. it was so much less than i thought it would be but the swelling afterwards is whats annoying.

anyway, i’m thinking of getting my belly button done next and i just want to have a realistic idea of the pain during and after the piercing is done.

oh and if you have any ways besides ice/cold stuff and aspirins so bring my tongues swelling down please share =]

ive had mine done twice. the first time, my body started rejecting it so i took it out. a few years later i got it redone. both times the pain level was only about a 3. it was no worse than getting your ear lobes pierced; ive heard of people saying the clamps hurt, but i dont think so. if you get it pierced i would suggest also buying H2Ocean sea salt spray (sold at some tattoo/piercing places and hot topic). i used it the second time and it made it heal extra fast. they also make a mouthwash version, that might help you with your tongue piercing. good luck!
