Patty was walking along the forest path. It was a beautiful day with the piercing blue sky and pine trees waving in the wind very gently reminding him how grateful she was to be alive on a day like this. He was about to bite with nostalgia on one of her cookies with pine nuts, when a shot rang out and his eyes became melancholy one of the blows and biscuit became a waterfall of crumbs. "God, Steve, do you think you can stop that thing shoot a minute. You never get nothing of all modes. Even the deer are not afraid. I think I saw you deliberately put yourself in their way just to mock you. "
"I'm sorry honey, but I knew they were going to shoot deer and I've been practicing after all the lessons his father gave me. By the way I think you were right about the deer without however. I swear that his tongue out at me. "
"Yes, you're right. You also know that I came here just to please Dad. He misses me when he is at work. I do not like the sound of gun shots. But honey, I do not think dad taught him to shoot like that. "
"Oh, no? Why do not you come here and show me." He smiled.
"I do not go there. I have my sensitivity female. My dad told me about men like you. "She floated towards him and kissed him." Could you be very surprised if I picked up the gun and fired one shot better than you then? "
"Actually, no, I could see you with a weapon. I think that fits …."
Shot sounded deeper into the forest, a second, then third. Patty and Steve immediately began walking at a brisk pace toward the sound of the gun. Dad was Patty knew there and never fired twice, let alone three. Dad was full blood Cherokee and his father always taught him to care for nature and all things in him. Dad always has the deer in the first shot and had to track it down and put it out of its misery. Then the family was expected to eat, because killing for the sheer pleasure of killing is not allowed.
As Patty walked down that forest path at a rapid pace, he heard a cry and little feet running the road. Suddenly a baby bear ran between his legs and one targeted to the left. "Steve, did you see that Daddy?" Dad? "" It's not Patty. "They sat on a stump with his rifle cocked straight before him. His shoulder was bleeding quite strong, but their focus remained constant. At that time, a huge Bear just under six feet tall out of the trees behind him.
"Dad, behind you!" Steve and his rifle was ready when Dad turned around and shot right as it started charging. The two ran towards him. "Daddy, what happened?" Are you okay? That is a stupid question …. I. … Come on Steve, help him up. Dad glared carrying what did you do with it? "
They began to walk the path. "I'm fine Patty. No, Steven is fine, just a short way from home. That bear …. I was looking for this deer and accidentally put in it and puppies. Before I knew she came at me through the bushes put him in the shoulder, but not until he got a good knock on my shoulder. Remember what I told you last week about bears Patty? Well, I knew she was coming back because once you know what she believes to be a danger to her cubs that she will return to rid you. I was looking for when she came charging. What I do know is that their puppies were old enough to take care of themselves now. It's a shame though. "
"How is Dad's shoulder? You want to wait here while I help?"
"It could be much worse Patty, we to get home …. as soon as possible, because I heard the shots that Steve was doing and you need a score of new lessons and another pair of eyes before I'll even allow you to touch a gun. "
