cartilage piercing?

So on June 5, I have my first cartilage piercing on the left ear. Follow the instructions and cleaning 2-3 times per day as recommended. But in the morning when I wake up and inspect it and at night before going to bed (the usual time when clean), usually crusts around slope and once (at present), is a sticky substance that I assume is pus, but it was yellowish to me. Is this a sign of infection? and if so, how I can treat it? I got to get my cartilage pierced for years because my cousin had passed and that were infected very badly and what caused him much pain and doctor visits.

What you see is not actually pus. This is normal secretions that occur each hole. It is a combination lymph, dead cells, debris and potentially harmful bacteria. You will notice that for a long time without probably at least 6 months. Just Published your ears only, no pressure and material clean the nasty with a crisp cotton swab when you do your normal cleaning routine. As there is no redness, extreme swelling or tenderness, not have to worry about infection. And if that became infected, pus is more of a dark yellow or green. normal discharge is white or yellowish.
