ga piercing laws
can i get around GA’s piercing law?

so i’m looking at GA’s piercing law and it says:
Prohibits anyone from piercing anyone under age 18 without prior written consent of the custodial parent or guardian. Violators are guilty of a misdemeanor.

so does that mean i just need a parent’s note to get a piercing?
the law does not say i HAVE to have a parent with me to get the piercing…?
