Just got a piercing on the upper cartilage rim of my ear, how should i take care of it?

Just got a piercing on the upper cartilage rim of my ear, how should i take care of it?
I heard your not supposed to use alcohol or peroxide because it’ll cause it to scab over.
What to do?
One of my x’s did it, he’s done all my piercings for free.
He owns a shop.
The only problem is i was out of Saleem solution, that’s what he has me use.
And i’m currently broke.

the piercer didn’t give you a list of what to do?!
