If I use a self ear piercer, can I eventually put in thicker hoops?
Im thinking of getting my ears pierced, but I know your supposed to use the stud at first for like a month or whatever, but I was wondering if I use the self piercing kit like they sell at walmart, can I easily go up in size? I want to have the kind of think styled hoops, not real thick or anything, def not spacers, just the thick silver hoops.
Self piercing kits (aka the gun) will make stretching more difficult, as guns cause more scar tissue to form. If you get pierced by a pro, they will pierce you with better jewelry as well as a sterile piercing needle that will not cause you as many problems.
DIY piercings (even something just as basic as earlobes) are never a good idea.
