I want to get my belly button pierced — how common are the complications?
I’ve heard of so many horror stories… how common are complications? Should I be worried? I have my ears pierced several times and haven’t had any problems with them, but ears are different then the belly!
Complications are easy to avoid if cleaned correctly.
When you get it pierced, make sure you clean it enough but not excessively. Use 100% silver or gold to avoid allergic reactions. Make sure it’s pierced through enough skin so it doesn’t reject.
Don’t worry, just keep it clean and it will heal.
