What happens after I take the piercing off my nose bridge?

I removed my nose bridge piercing awhile ago, but I’m unsure about what happens to the fistula afterward (the tube of flesh that heals around the piercing, which gets a little hard).

Does the fistula heal up and go away after you take the piercing out? It has healed very noticeably ever since.

Don’t know about your nose bridge, but your I Q increases about 50% after the removal process is complete.
