lip piercing scar removal
labret piercing: possible keloid?

i got completed snakebites [i already had the right side done for three years now] last friday. and i had a scar from a mole removal where the piercer pierced it [i'm not sure if that will change anything].

but anyway, this piercing has been more sore than my last lip piercing but that’s not the part that worries me. on the inside of the piercing there’s a large bump. it’s not red; it’s just the normal color of the inside of my mouth.

do you think this will go away? i was gonna go to my piercer if it gets larger, but i don’t think it will get any bigger. my lips not swollen anymore, so it cant be that.

this lump is pretty hard. i’m not sure what it could be. also, i’m cleaning the piercing properly.

it’s a keloid. I got my snakebites finished also after having one side pierced for 4 years and i am having a harder time with this side also. It’s normal to have a keloid but if it gets larger, i would go back to the piercer. I had a keloid in the back of my cartilage piercing for a year before it went away. sometimes it’s just how your body reacts.
