Thinking of putting a hoop in my nose?

I have a stud in, and I’d love to try a hoop. I’m just afraid it’s pierced too far up.

I don’t need input on whether you think hoops in noses are ugly, just so you know. hahaha. I know a lot of people who hate them but it appeals to me, so I wanna try it out. I mean, you can politely say whether you think I can pull it off, but don’t be like “thoes r so ugly!!!!!!!”

Also, how expensive do you think one would be? Decent quality, of course, I don’t want infections.

I tend to get this recurring bump next to it, nothing major, but I’m wondering also if having a hoop will help with this issue?

I have a hoop for my nose piercing; I don’t wear it too often cause it looks weird for a 30 year old office worker who wants to keep her job. Anyway, you can get an easy-peasy stainless steel one from Hot Topic, but wanna know something? Body piercing jewelry is WAY cheaper on ebay. You can get something for THREE BUCKS! Seriously! I’ve done it! As long as it says stainless, it’s fine; just watch your gauge.
The recurring bump–is it an infection? Does it pus-out when you push on it? (And if so, what worked on my infected nose piercing: hand sanitizer. Tried everything from sea salt to crushed aspirin, and after two months I was about to give up until a friend said she used hand sanitizer for hers. Hurt like a b***h but it worked.)
