Ear Piercing Gauges – difference in size?
So I have ear lobe piercings on both ears. They’re entirely non stretched…they’re at the pin-sized size.
Now what I’m wonering is how IMMEDIATELY stretchable this is.
I ask because I bought some studs on eBay that are 1.33mm in their pin’s size
http://www.yourpiercingshop.com/pics/gauge-chart.jpg is a chart I was looking at…
1.33 mm doesn’t sound all that big, but in comparison to a pinhole sized peircing I’m not so sure
Do you think I should be able to accommodate these new earrings, if, at worst, by just pushing a tad bit harder for it to fit (is the fistula or the hole’s rim’s flexible for tiny stretches?)
Thanks
Also, I read that the average new piercing with a gun or needle is 18g.
So 1.29mm is VIRTUALLY identical 10 1.33mm. So clarifying, could an18g piercing easily accommodate a 16g size?
You will be stretching your holes slightly larger the first time you put in the 1.33 mm posts, but if you do it slowly you should not have any problems. Once you have them in your ears, wear them for a full day so your ears will ge used to the thicker posts.
