nose piercing healing bump
Please help! New nose piercing and sore bump inside?!?

I got my nose pierced last friday which was the 22nd. It wasnt pierced with a gun. The professional who pierced it used a needle and some clamper type things. I have been cleaning my piercing regularly with warm water and soap. I might think that i am allergic to m jewelery because sometimes it itches my nose and i want to scratch it and sometimes i do. (bad i know) But today, i took a short nap and woke up and my nose ring was almost out of my nose. And i noticed that piercing was very sore and that it had a bump either around where the piercing was on where it was inside of my nose. I normally do get bumps in my nose like this. And I just got dial soap and the h2ocean stuff that my piercer reccommended.
Could my piercing be infected?
Should I take it out and let it heal?
Should I tell my nose piercer that Im possibly allergic to the jewelery?
If you could answer these that would mean a lot. =)

I know nothing about nose piercings…although I would like one eventually. I, personally, am allergic to stainless steal jewelry or anything you would call “cheap”. I can wear those metals for a day or two but if they are in my ears for a long time it will get gunky and even infected. I’ve had my ears pierced 6 times before I realized this. Now I use 14k gold if it I’m wearing it long term. It can’t be less than that. ANYWAYS…since you just got it pierced it just could be some slight swelling and your skin is getting used to the piercing. A piercing is a wound and it eventually heals itself around the ring. Plus your nose has lots of cartilage (sp?) and I know when you pierce the top of your ear where there is cartilage, a tiny bump appears in the back. If it becomes gunky, itchy, or really sore, I would go maybe see the professional or maybe even a doctor if you feel it is an allergic reaction. I wouldn’t freak out just yet but if it starts to be really uncomfortable or will not go away then maybe you should call and ask the professional first and see what they say. If they aren’t helpful or if they say it seems abnormal maybe go see a doctor.
