What are the symptoms of navel piercing rejection?

I got my navel pierced approximately 5 days ago, I soak it in sea salt 2 times a day. I’m scared it’ll reject. :[ Around the top ball its red around the piercing and I can feel the bar under my skin a little bit pushing.

also i kinda have a crease on my tummy when i sit down near my belly, causing the bottom of the jewelry to sink in and the top more out. Will that affect the healing process?

5 days ago. it’s still adjusting.

it won’t hurt when it gets rejected, it will just grow out of there.
don’t worry too hard about it.
it will take a while to get rejected, and you’ll watch it happen.

what you see now is a natural healing process. it will also get itchy and burning and stuff. if it starts to stink and excrete stuff and HURT BAD or you get a rash, go see the person who pierced it.
but it sounds like you’re fine.
