some questions about tongue piercing?

so ive removed my tongue ring on christmas, and today i decided to put it thru again. i did it on my own it wasnt really hard it went right thru. but my tongue does hurt a bit now, i just want to know if i have to do the whole aftercare for it again and do i have to not eat spicy foods til about a month after and all of that stuff you cant do during the healing time. also does it have to heal up again or is it healed already? please someone help :) please and thanks
