legal piercing age uk
legal age for piercing top of ear?

I want to get the top of my ear pierced (I don’t know what it’s called, but on the outside at the top if that makes sense?). Does anyone know what the legal age to get this done without a parent is? I’m 17 and my mum’s fine with it (she’s paying lol!) but she’s not coming with me. I live in the UK.

It’s 16 for a helix piercing (the one that you want) and most other piercings.
The only piercings that are 18 are intimate piercings.
However depending on the place, if you don’t have ID they might not pierce you if you can’t prove your age.
